An understanding of the cancer journey and extensive experience working with patients and family members of all ages and backgrounds enable our staff to kindly and conscientiously assist individuals with their appearance-related needs. They have worked with many people dealing with the consequences of cancer treatment and are familiar with these changes. The welcoming and warm environment of the store provides a safe place where those without hair may feel comfortable. The staff also has specialized skills and is certified in the fitting of mastectomy bras, prostheses and lymphedema garments. Carefully considering each individual's unique needs, the fitter works with the customer until both are pleased with the results.
The Reflections staff has worked in a variety of patient care and retail environments. We believe that every person deserves individualized attention and respect. This plays an important role in the overall service provided at Reflections. Deeply caring in their approach to patients, they also encourage patients to find some fun and humor in the process as a way to cope with the illness and the devastating changes.
Having the Simms/Mann -- UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology is a big plus because we know that patients can get access to so many other services including expert information on nutrition and supplements, groups and a range of psychosocial resources to assist in their coping. We work together to make sure patients get optimal care. We are all committed to optimizing patient's well being."
