Larry Spiegel
Larry Spiegel has been an independent investment advisor dealing with retirees in the Las Vegas area for the past 25 years, working to help retirees with their estate planning and to help them safely increase their income. His business is called Senior Citizen's Financial. Larry began his career working as a manufacturer's representative, and then served as Director of Marketing and Sales for the California and Nevada region of a large real estate developer. He also served as the Director of Marketing and Sales for Las Vegas Country Club and Estates. Prior to starting Senior Citizen's Financial, he worked as a wire house stock broker for Francis DuPont and Co. Larry obtained his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Southern California.
Larry's connection to the Simms/Mann-UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology dates back almost twenty years, when his long-time partner, Marilyn, was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Larry attended the Center's informational lectures, and utilized a wide variety of its free psychological support services. Through his interactions with the Simms/Mann Center, Larry not only learned more about the disease, but how to better support and care for Marilyn. Marilyn passed away in March 2010.
Larry currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is an avid traveler, and has a passion for fishing, bird hunting, and studying Spanish. He has served on the Simms/Mann Center's Advisory Board since 2011.
