About Other Items Helpful to Cancer Survivors
Reflections sells a variety of other products that can assist cancer survivors at all phases of the disease and treatment. Some of the categories of products are listed below:
Gift Items
We carry a variety of inspirational pins and other items related to survivorship. In addition, we carry bracelets, journals, pins and other accessories and gifts that make a nice addition to the gift bags we can prepare for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Non-Metallic Deodorant
Patients who are receiving radiation to their upper body (e.g. post lumpectomy radiation) are often asked to refrain from using deodorant because of the metals found in most over-the-counter deodorants. Reflections has a non-metallic deodorant that will not be a problem during radiation therapy.
Gentle adhesive
We carry a gentle roll-on adhesive to hold lymphedema garments, prostheses or head coverings in place.
Wig Supplies
Special wig shampoo, conditioner and hair spray are available to care for synthetic or human hair wigs.
Skin Care Products
Many patients develop sensitive, dry or itchy skin or scalps during the treatment process. We carry a few special lotions, creams and powders that are gentle and can help alleviate these discomforts. Many of our products are specially designed for patients going through treatment and are recommended by UCLA radiation oncologists.
