Discovering Self Compassion Through Mindfulness Meditation
When we are taking care of another person, it’s hard to remember that we also need to take care of ourselves. In this online group, we’ll explore the practice of self-compassion as a way to bring kindness to ourselves in times of difficulty.
Through practicing self-compassion we learn how we can better show up for ourselves, and in turn the people we care for. Caregivers in particular are at high-risk for burnout and fatigue, and this group is designed specifically to show how self-compassion can address the many difficulties caregivers face. We invite anyone who is directly supporting a loved one with cancer to join us in connecting with others and learning the gifts of self-compassion through mindfulness meditation.
