Los Angeles Dodgers 2019 Honorary Bat Girl – Breast Cancer Survivor – Jessica Krouner

On Mother’s Day (May 12, 2019), Los Angeles Dodgers 2019 Honorary Bat Girl, Jessica Krouner, threw the first pitch before the Dodger’s game against the Washington Nationals. After being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, Jessica is cancer free. She received her treatment at UCLA.

Jessica feels it is important to create awareness of breast cancer in young women.  She is involved with the Simms/Mann-UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology and Sharsheret, a nationwide breast cancer support organization for women. Through these connections, she hopes to broaden awareness surrounding breast cancer in young women and work on ways to support others in similar situations.
