Responsibilities

I have been with Reflections Boutique for over 6 years, and am a certified mastectomy fitter which includes fitting bras and breast prostheses. My duties include fittings, assisting customers with purchases of products such as wigs and fitting lymphedema garments, and assisting the patients and family members who visit the boutique with anything that they need. Being a mastectomy fitter is an intimate experience between a patient and the fitter and I am committed to helping each woman achieve her best fit and look so that when she leaves she feels as comfortable as possible with her new look. I understand that sometimes there are times of sadness associated with this process and challenges, but I believe that when we work together that we can accomplish each woman’s goals.

I worked in the garment industry for several years before coming to Reflections. I am able to take the experience that I gained and bring it to my duties at Reflections. I feel fortunate that I was able to find a place where I could take those skills and couple them with a purpose that is so meaningful to me. Customer service is important to me and my job is to help each person who enters the store to get their needs met and hopefully leave feeling like their self- image is restored in a positive direction. I have found that I often forge warm and caring relationships with the patients that I serve. This is rewarding to me.
