As the Administrator for the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology and its many programs–including the Individual Assessment Program, Reflections Boutique, the Psychiatry Program, and others–I am responsible for the daily operations of the Center. I supervise administrative functions, and coordinate the programs we offer. An important part of my work is oversight of the Center’s financial resources and budget. I collaborate with the Director in financial planning and fundraising.
I graduated with my BA in Psychology from the University of Arizona and also have a Masters in Forensic Science with a Specialization in Investigation. I am currently enrolled and will be completing my MBA in 2021.
Before joining the Simms/Mann Center, I worked in social services, non-profits and healthcare. I began my social work career as a Youth Partner with Olive Crest and went on to work as a Family Violence Intervention Program Advocate for the Brewster Center as well as a Family Resource Coordinator and Case Manager for the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Program through Lutheran Social Services. My administrative experience began as the Family Services Program Manager for a home for children with cancer where I ran the day to day operations of the program. My healthcare experience began as an administrative coordinator for the Law & Psychiatry Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2016, I moved to Los Angeles and began working for Keck Medical Center of USC.
I am honored to be a part of such a caring and compassionate team that provides such invaluable whole-person care to the patients of UCLA in Westwood and in all of our community clinics. In my free time I enjoy running, yoga and travel.
